During his senior year of college, Tom Riles was hired as an intern at "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," in New York City. Watching the show from backstage, Tom experienced the excitement of a television show with a studio audience, and realized that this was the place for him.
Since then, Tom has been the audience warm-up comic for over fifty television shows, including "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Dancing with the Stars," "American Idol," "Deal or No Deal," and "So You Think You Can Dance."
Raised in Pequannock, New Jersey, Tom graduated with a B.A. in Communication from the College of New Jersey. Tom currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife Lucy, and their dog, Mr. Bojangles
